Our Deli counter is back for its second year for the 2009 summer shopping season. We will continue to grow our deli business this summer with the addition of many new features. Look for lots of fresh buttery popcorn from our NEW popcorn machine, along with fresh in-store made deli sandwiches and a selection of salads and olives from “Behind the Counter”. Ask the deli boy for assistance from 10am-8pm daily or visit the Meat Manager before or after hours. Also, look for new items and rotisserie Chicken Dinners all summer long. Fresh rotisserie Chickens available at 10am, noon, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm daily, starting late June and running to the conclusion of September Long Weekend.
Andrew and Cory are back for another year. Andrew will be your guy to ask about all the specialty meat cuts and he will also be the most senior on staff with 11 years of service for Falcon Lake Meat & Grocery. Also look for some fresh faces in the meat department as we continue to develop our staff to serve you better in the future. Our meat department staff may look new and different but you the consumer can expect to continue to see the familiar names on the counter such as JM Schneider, Maple Leaf, Fryebe, Winnipeg Old Country, Dunrite and Winkler Meats. We will also continue to only Canadian Alberta AA/AAA beef custom cut for the summer BBQ season. Tenderloin, rib eye, New York and sirloin. Only the best. Wait till you try our MSG free in-store made hamburger patties. Make sure you also select your favourite Bothwell cheeses as compliments to your beef, chicken or pork.
New this year is our over the counter deli section. We have raided the grocery department and recruited Christina to look after the deli. Sliced meats on demand, fresh BBQ’d chickens, olives, specialty salads, Bothwell cheese and many more treats.
